Bold. Approachable. Uncomplicated.

I understand how overwhelming it can be when there's too much information to absorb, and how frustrating it is when there isn't enough of it.

XOXSEW patterns are designed and written through the lens of a confident beginner and painstakingly edited for brevity and clarity.

If you’ve ever received a quilt in your life, chances are, you remember who gave it to you. In fact, it might be on your couch or bed at this very moment, crinkly soft from years of use. Or maybe it’s in the closet, just waiting to be handed down to the next generation. Either way, there’s nothing like gifting someone a quilt. It’s a useful, one-of-a-kind art that, more often than not, holds a connection to our past or loved ones.

About XOXSEW

Hello, I’m Donna! I’m the person behind XOXSEW. I started quilting at the tender age of thirtysomething and immediately fell in love with the therapeutic craft of sewing fabric pieces together. In 2019, I began designing my own quilt patterns. It’s a joy for me to see my sketches become a functional, handmade quilt.
